Hiring REMOTE WordPress Engineers – Multiple positions immediately available.
Compensation: USD $2,300 – $3,000 per month
Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire WordPress Engineers. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business development and project managers to plan WordPress projects
• Provide accurate time estimates and execution timelines
• Develop custom WordPress themes and Gutenberg blocks following best practices
• Integrate and customize APIs and third-party plugins (WooCommerce, ACF, Elementor, etc.)
• Ensure all code meets WCAG 2.2 accessibility and Core Web Vitals standards
• Optimize site performance and resolve complex technical issues
• Maintain version control and workflow using GitHub/Gitflow
• Leverage AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to enhance development speed and quality
Qualifications:
• & Tools:
• Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Skilled in Claude Code or similar Autonomous AI Coding tools
• Strong experience with GitHub and understanding of Gitflow
• 3+ Years as a WordPress Engineer or similar position
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
