Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Employment Law Attorneys. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel to U.S. clients hiring contractors in Mexico, ensuring compliance with local labor and employment laws.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for contractors, ensuring compliance with labor laws regarding terms of employment, benefits, and payment structures.
• Advise clients on tax implications and employment benefits specific to contractors in each country.
• Assist clients in navigating worker classification under local employment law to mitigate potential legal risks.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws, advising clients on necessary adjustments for compliance.
• Collaborate with HR teams to develop standardized contracts and documentation templates for contractors.
