Compensation: USD $1,900 – $2,000 per month
Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Bookkeeper (South Africa)s to support their operations remotely. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Collect and manage customer data, categorizing transactions and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain accurate customer accounts through effective ledger and data management.
• Adjust accounts as needed, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear and empathetic communication.
• Develop and maintain meaningful connections with a portfolio of small businesses.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on financial processes and reports.
• Identify potential issues in customer accounts and provide solutions to ensure financial success.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial management tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience in customer service or client management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
• Stable internet connection, laptop, and headset
