Hiring REMOTE Accounting Controllers – Multiple positions immediately available.
Compensation: USD $1400 – $2500 per month
Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Accounting Controllers to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, and budgeting processes. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies, helping ensure accurate financial management and operational oversight.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing accounting processes, supervising financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting leadership with financial insights that guide business decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Generate and review financial reports and statements for internal management and leadership
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate financial records
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and operational decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
• Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or reporting issues
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and maintain accurate financial documentation
• Collaborate with leadership and operations teams on financial planning initiatives
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as an Accounting Controller or similar accounting leadership role
• Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Sage, FreshBooks, or Wave
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting compliance standards
• Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage financial responsibilities in a remote environment
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
• Stable internet connection, laptop, and headset
