Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Abbas – Test Medical Scribe – Latin America (Proficient in electronic health, Understanding of medical, Written and verbal communication)s to support their operations remotely. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Document patient encounters and ensure accurate and timely entries in electronic health records.
• Assist healthcare providers by transcribing medical dictations and summarizing patient information.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations while handling patient data.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient care and workflow.
• Review and edit notes for clarity, completeness, and compliance with medical standards.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on medical terminology and documentation practices.
• Respond to requests for information from healthcare providers and patients as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field.
• Prior experience as a medical scribe or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
