Hiring REMOTE Internal Accountant (Sourcing)s – Multiple positions immediately available.
Compensation: USD $2,000 – $2,500 per month
Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Internal Accountant (Sourcing)s to support their operations remotely. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks by recording transactions, categorizing expenses, posting journal entries, and managing the chart of accounts.
• Perform regular reconciliations for bank, credit card, and merchant accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
• Track and classify expenses, manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, and maintain vendor and customer records.
• Support the month-end close process by preparing and posting adjusting entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and producing month-end reports.
• Prepare financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, along with summary analysis for clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax law in bookkeeping and reporting practices, and prepare schedules for tax filing and CPA handoffs.
• Optimize revenue tracking by setting up and maintaining revenue recognition and invoicing flows, and ensuring accurate sales data mapping.
• Conduct basic financial analysis and variance reports to identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities for cost savings and revenue optimization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Familiarity with financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
