Compensation: USD $1,300 – $23 per month
Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Bankruptcy Paralegal (Chap 7&13)s to support their operations remotely. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys with the preparation and review of bankruptcy-related documents and court forms.
• Gather, organize, and review client information and supporting documentation, including income, debts, assets, and creditor details.
• Maintain accurate, well-organized electronic case files.
• Track case progress, deadlines, court dates, and required follow-ups.
• Update internal systems and case management tools with notes, case status, and key milestones.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client questions and case status updates.
• Assist with client intake, ensuring all required information and documentation is collected accurately.
• Communicate professionally, clearly, and empathetically with clients throughout the bankruptcy process.
Qualifications:
• Experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal with a strong focus on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.
• Proven experience preparing bankruptcy petitions and supporting documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Familiarity with court procedures and filing requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathetic communication skills to support clients through the bankruptcy process.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
