Hiring REMOTE Medical Billing Specialists – Multiple positions immediately available.
Compensation: USD $1,200 – $2,000 per month
Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Medical Billing Specialists. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations
• Submit clean claims (CMS-1500/UB-04 as applicable) and monitor claim status
• Resolve denials/rejections, submit corrections, and manage appeals when needed
• Post payments (ERA/EOB), reconcile accounts, and track AR follow-up
• Communicate with payers, providers, and patients to resolve billing issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance best practices
Qualifications:
• & Tools:
• Experience with EMR/PM systems (Athena, AdvancedMD, Kareo, NextGen, eClinicalWorks)
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets habits for tracking and reporting
• Working knowledge of CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS, modifiers, and payer rules
• 1+ Years as a Medical Billing Specialist or similar position
• Fluent English, both verbal and written
• Energetic & upbeat
