Hiring REMOTE Medical Billers – Multiple positions immediately available.
Compensation: USD $1,400 – $2,500 per month
Remote Leverage is helping multiple companies hire Medical Billers. In this role, you would be working directly with one of Remote Leverage’s partner companies.
Responsibilities:
• Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government payers
• Review and verify CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for accuracy before claim submission
• Follow up on denied, rejected, or underpaid claims and manage the appeals process
• Post payments, adjustments, and patient balances to billing systems
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services
• Generate and review aging reports to identify and resolve outstanding accounts receivable
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle management
• Familiarity with medical billing software such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
• Understanding of insurance claim processes for commercial and government payers
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Stable internet connection, laptop, and headset
